2797 Lydia Street, Jacksonville, FL 32205

Property Description

Some homes get renovated. Lydia got a full historic rehab. This 1924 Mission Revival bungalow has been thoughtfully brought back to her original self, blending vintage soul with modern comfort. Original solid-wood doors and hardware remain, historic red oak and heart pine floors were saved, and period-inspired finishes honor her Art Deco heritage. Spanish tile welcomes you inside, with custom dining built-ins and bar, a charming breakfast nook, vintage cast-iron kitchen sink, and sun-filled living room with working fireplace. The primary bedroom offers a sitting area ideal for an office or nursery, while the guest bedroom opens to the rear deck. Both baths are beautifully updated. A full-width deck and pergola overlook the oversized fenced yard. Best of all, leave the car at home: Willow Branch Park, the St. Johns River, and the restaurants, bars, coffee shops and local favorites of the Park & King District are all just a short walk away.
